Crops and
sustainability.

Looking after what
matters.

The requirement to deliver healthy food means making a commitment to growing fruit and vegetables with recognised food safety and quality standards.

Tomspring SAT has taken this commitment fully on board – we want our consumers to enjoy tasty produce, fresh from the land.

Growing for
the future.

Given our history and experience, tomatoes account for the lion’s share of our production, but we have recently branched out into courgette production with a view to diversifying and broadening our commercial offering.

Sustainability.

In order to attain excellence in production, all of our workers, farmers and technicians are committed to an environmentally-friendly agricultural model for the efficient development of crops that bring value to the entire chain.

We use renewable energy sources, primarily photovoltaic systems, in our plant. They supply over 50% of the energy we consume. Similarly, we promote water saving through the use of efficient irrigation systems and rain harvesting. This approach meets over 20% of water needs.

We use integrated pest control and minimise the use of pesticides.

Social commitment.

Tomspring SAT promotes quality employment. We treat people with respect and work towards greater equality. We encourage training and personal development among our employees by providing them with decent working conditions that protect their health and general wellbeing.
