Our roots go back to the mid-twentieth century, when the company Hijos de Federico Lis S.A. was set up to sell produce grown in the fertile soils of Valencia. A few years later, when tomatoes began to be farmed in Alicante region, Tomspring SAT (agricultural processing company) was set up as an umbrella organisation to sell the produce grown by small-scale farmers in this region, shortly afterwards joined by farmers in the province of Almeria.
Today, Tomspring SAT, run by Rafael Lis Izquierdo (a member of the fourth generation of this family company) and his management team, has extensive experience in the production of tomatoes and other horticultural varieties and their marketing in Spain and abroad, particularly in the United Kingdom and Scandinavian countries. The company has won recognition as a quality brand in these markets.
